Skyler Skoglund got plenty of attention this week after sharing vacation photos with her boyfriend, Will Howard of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She posted several swimsuit pictures from Hanalei Bay in Hawaii as the NFL offseason begins. Her caption read, “Our sweet escape.” Many followers praised her beach look, while others showed support for the couple.

Skoglund has supported Will Howard through some of the biggest moments of his career. She watched him help the Ohio State Buckeyes win a national championship. She also celebrated when the Pittsburgh Steelers picked him with the 185th overall selection in the NFL Draft. After the draft, she wrote on Instagram, “This moment wasn’t luck – it’s years of unseen battles, silent prayers, and unbreakable belief. Proud is an understatement. All in God’s timing. Let the adventure begin.”

Howard did not start a game for Pittsburgh last season, but Skoglund still went to every game. She supported him each week at Acrisure Stadium and also traveled to away games.

Offseason Attention And Howard’s Future In Pittsburgh

With the Steelers currently in the offseason, Will Howard is enjoying some time off before team workouts begin. A trip to Hawaii gave him a chance to relax, and Skyler Skoglund shared a look at their vacation with fans.

Howard is still preparing for the 2026 season. Right now, he is listed as the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart. If the Steelers bring back Aaron Rodgers in free agency, Howard will likely stay in that backup role.

Even so, new head coach Mike McCarthy has spoken highly of him. McCarthy said he is excited about Howard and praised how much he improved during his time with the Ohio State.

“I’m really excited about Will Howard,” McCarthy said. “He’s someone that, I thought, he really came on there at Ohio State.”

That vote of confidence matters. Howard faces competition, but he also has support inside the building and at home. Skoglund continues to back him publicly, just as she did on draft night and throughout his rookie season.

For now, the couple soaks in the offseason. Football will return soon enough.
