Fever's Sophie Cunningham Horrifies WNBA Fans With Odd Fun Fact

Sophie Cunningham isn’t afraid to share every detail about her life, that’s for sure.

With the Indiana Fever’s 2025 season set to tip off this Saturday, the social media team shared a “Get To Know” graphic for Cunningham. After all, it’s her first season with the squad. She spent the past six seasons of her career with the Phoenix Mercury, averaging 7.7 points per game on 36.2 percent shooting from downtown.

Cunningham, who has become quite popular over the past year, shared a fun fact that involves her diet. It turns out she enjoys a meal that not many athletes would be willing to admit. To be fair, that’s because they probably wouldn’t like how it tastes.

As part of this fun ice-breaker, Cunningham revealed that she likes to put ranch on spaghetti.

No, we’re not kidding.

Cunningham’s bizarre admission received a lot of pushback on social media. We’re not really surprised by that. It’s not often that you see someone brag about putting ranch on spaghetti.

“Ranch on spaghetti is insane,” one fan said.

“Ranch in spaghetti is kinda different and gross,” a Fever fan wrote.

Another fan replied, “What is wrong with you?”

“Ranch on spaghetti is diabolical,” a social media user declared.

Cunningham has already made it known that she’s very excited to be on the Fever.

“I think it’s refreshing. I’ve been in Phoenix for the past six years, was drafted out there, I’ve had a really great time, been really blessed … the offense is more my style (here), but I’m also surrounded by a great culture and great people, and that’s what I’m really excited about here in Indiana,” Cunningham said, via IndyStar.

Fever fans might be grossed out by Cunningham’s fun fact, but make no mistake, they’ll be cheering her on this Saturday against the Chicago Sky.
