Internet users reckon they know why Taylor Swift tried to enter Arrowhead Stadium covertly on Sunday.
Swift was in attendance while the Kansas City Chiefs played the Philadelphia Eagles on the day, having announced her engagement to tight end Travis Kelce earlier this year.
She snuck into the venue to watch him play his team’s Super Bowl 59 opponents, and it appears she was behind a bulletproof shield while making her way to her suite.
The clip below shows multiple security guards and other personnel walking with a mobile barrier, clearly trying to hide someone.
According to TMZ Sports, the object shown in the video is a bullet-resistant portable shield that sells for around $6,000.

It’s now believed that Taylor Swift used a bulletproof barrier because of Charlie Kirk’s fatal shooting in Utah last Wednesday. The conservative influencer was shot in the neck while debating students at UVU, and his death has folks on edge.
A suspect is in custody after turning himself in, with 22-year-old Tyler Robinson believed to be the gunman who used a high-powered rifle to kill Kirk during his speaking engagement.
Taylor Swift has been a regular at Chiefs games since hooking up with Travis Kelce and is typically very engaging, never shying away from the cameras. However, it appears that last week’s tragedy has prompted her to be more careful.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs dropped another game following their loss against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil. They have since suffered a 20-17 defeat to the Eagles, who have moved to 2-0 in 2025 on the back of a splendid 2024 campaign that ended with them lifting the Lombardi.
