Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is not having that great a season on a personal front and has even taken to posting Bible verses to express his frustration. Still, Annie Agar has no qualms about kicking him while he’s down.

The sports media personality is known to troll NFL coaches and players, with Brown the victim of one of her latest taunts after she attended a wedding over the weekend.

Agar took to X ahead of the Eagles’ loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday to take a jab at the wideout, sharing a photo of herself and claiming to have more receptions.

“my friend got married this weekend. i’ve now had more receptions than aj brown this year,” she wrote.

Brown had 14 receptions at the time of the post and added another five after it. Of course, it’s unlikely that Agar has already attended 15 weddings this year, but the jibe was no less funny.

The Eagles star has made 19 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown this season, with his longest reception at 38 yards, while he averages 10.2 yards per catch.

Was A.J. Brown At Fault For The Eagles’ 1st Loss Of The Season?

A.J. Brown has had just one breakout game this season, a six-catch, 109-yard outing against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. He made a single reception for eight yards against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 and followed that up with five catches for 27 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brown’s frustration boiled over in Week 4 after he made two catches for seven yards. He took to social media with a Bible verse from Mark 6:11, suggesting he felt unwanted. He later deleted it and posted, “I love y’all with all my heart.”

Quarterback Jalen Hurts looked to him early against the Broncos on Sunday, and things looked to be going pretty well in the first half. However, the Eagles surrendered a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter to lose 21-17.

Brown notably slowed down on a route that would have otherwise resulted in a touchdown, then later blamed Hurts, and appeared to prevent teammate DeVonta Smith from making a game-winning catch in the end zone on a last-gasp throw.

He finished the game with five catches for 43 yards.
