A young Dallas Cowboys fan had his soul crushed by Jerry Jones through his own mother when he learned about the Micah Parsons trade after being picked up from school.

The Cowboys’ union with Parsons came to an end this Thursday. The pass rusher is now part of the Green Bay Packers defense following a blockbuster trade that saw Kenny Clark go the other way. The Packers also gave up two first-round picks.

Parsons, a Pro Bowler every year he’s been in the NFL, is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league, having secured a four-year deal worth $188 million with Green Bay.

He leaves Dallas after four Pro Bowls, two First-Team All-Pro selections, and two second-team All-Pro selections. He was also the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2021.

One of the biggest defensive stars in the pros, Parsons’ departure leaves a hole in the Dallas setup; it also leaves holes in the hopes and dreams of many fans, including the young boy shown below, whose mother broke the news to him and laughed at him while he cried his eyes out.

The youngster had just been picked up from school when he was informed of the trade. He was understandably skeptical at first, but then realization set in.

Once it became clear that his mother was not joking, he immediately burst into tears. The video, posted to Twitter/X, has earned her some criticism.

Check it out below:

“Talk about child abuse,” someone commented.

“People do anything to go viral . I hate this place,” said another.

“TRENDING: Piece of s**t Mom records her son crying for clicks,” added a third.

“Jerry Jones knows how to rip the heart out of folks,” someone else wrote.

The boy’s pain is understandable and was felt around the squad on Thursday, with one heartbreaking reaction going viral.

As for Jones, he insists the team will be better without Parsons and seemed to purposely get the player’s name wrong when addressing the trade in a press conference.
