The NFL didn’t quite think this one over,
The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will wear a brand-new USA patch on their jerseys for the Super Bowl. Not everybody is thrilled about it.
Adding patches to jerseys is not something new, as some teams sported special candy cane patches on their jerseys for Christmas games. Both the Patriots and Seahawks have officially unveiled their uniform combinations ahead of Super Bowl LX.
Each jersey will feature a patch reading “USA 250” on the right side. What does it mean?
Beginning in Week 18 of this season, the NFL joined the nationwide celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
“The NFL is proud to participate in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement.
“The story of the NFL reflects the story of America, and the American spirit of resilience, innovation, and teamwork has helped football grow into a cultural pastime that unites us all. We are excited to honor our country’s history and celebrate our collective future.”
Now, both teams will sport a “USA 250” patch on their jerseys, furthering the celebration of America’s semiquincentennial.

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will be sporting more than just Super Bowl LX patches on their jerseys when they take the field. The teams will sport a “USA 250” patch on their uniforms for the big game in Santa Clara, California.
Thursday gave fans a first look at the patch. It was not received very well.
“USA 250 Patch Ruins the Jersey, no Reason to move the Super Bowl patch up,” one fan said.

“Is the 250 patch really necessary? It’s terrible,” a second person wrote.
“These jerseys would be PERFECT if the 250 patch didn’t ruin the look. Ugly, too crowded, and unnecessary 👎,” a third fan commented.
“Not even about the USA patriotism or whatever, that 250 patch is just butt ugly, man. And talk about creating a needless problem for where the captain patches for NE and 50th anniversary patches for SEA are gonna go now,” a fourth fan added.

“U.S.A 250 Patch,” one final fan wrote while adding a thumbs-down GIF.
The patch isn’t included on the Super Bowl 60 jerseys available for sale to fans.

JUST 10 MINUTES AGO: NFL legend Joe Montana broke his silence with a powerful statement defending coach Sean McDermott following the Buffalo Bills’ shocking firing decision: “What’s happening to him is a crime against football – a blatant betrayal of the entire sport. How can anyone be so cruel? To criticize a coach who has dedicated nine years, taken the team from the abyss to the top of the playoffs consistently, built a solid foundation, was present every week, gave his all, never demanded attention, never blamed anyone – someone who simply tried to win. To me, Sean McDermott is one of the best coaches this league has ever seen. Instead of firing him just because of one difficult playoff season, people should stand by him and support him.”

45 MINUTES AGO — NFL legend Tom Brady is suddenly being named as an honorary guest for the All-American Halftime — a direct rival positioned to compete with the Super Bowl Halftime Show in the same cultural spotlight. The buzz is being framed around one idea: frustration with what critics call the Super Bowl Halftime Show’s “confusing” decisions — especially the backlash over reportedly choosing Bad Bunny, with arguments centering on his Spanish-language performances for what many view as America’s biggest sports day. Now the conversation is shifting fast: if Brady is truly involved, supporters say it’s not just an alternative show anymore — it’s a statement, and a challenge to what halftime is supposed to represent. 👇 Who invited Brady, why this move is being read as a direct message, and what’s confirmed vs. still rumor — scroll to the comments for the full breakdown.

“Who do you think you are to say such things? You’re just a guy who knows how to play football! You haven’t done anything for this society except chase a ball, a meaningless sport!” Karoline Leavitt, the prominent U.S. politician, shook the entertainment world with these words, sparking a media storm. However, just moments later, Fernando Mendoza, the famous football star, grabbed the microphone, looked straight into the camera, and responded with 12 cold, sharp words that left everyone silent.
