The Golden State Warriors will be back in action Thursday night for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Despite losing Steph Curry to a hamstring strain in Game 1, the Warriors upset the Timberwolves on the road. Buddy Hield led the Warriors in scoring with 24 points. The veterans in Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green also played well, combining for 38 points.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, they won’t have Curry for Game 2. In fact, he’s expected to miss at least one week.

“I think you literally just take it a game at a time,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters. “I know there’s a break between [Games] 5 and 6 and everyone’s saying maybe those three days [Curry returns]. We can’t afford to think about that. I mean, Steph will be back when he’s back.”

The Warriors will be serious underdogs for Game 2, make no mistake about it. Win or lose though, oddsmakers will have a bit more confidence in them for Game 3 since they’ll be back in the Bay Area.

Golden State will benefit from having home-court advantage for Games 3 and 4, that’s for sure.

Although we’re still a few days away from the series shifting back to Chase Center, it appears a member of the Warriors Dance Team is going viral.

Sierra Hines-Navarro, the captain of the Warriors Dance Team, has been a fan favorite in Golden State for the past five seasons.

As of this week, Hines-Navarro has over 2,500 followers on Instagram. Her following could blow up depending on how much screen time the Warriors Dance Team gets this weekend.

Game 3 of the Warriors-Timberwolves series will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

First things first though, Golden State and Minnesota will square off this Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
