In a recent interview, Shannon Sharpe did not hold back in calling out LeBron James for one major issue after the consecutive loss.

After the loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Shannon Sharpe advised being more aggressive in the game and attempting more shots.

Shannon Sharpe is back at it, taking shots at the struggling Los Angeles Lakers. After a shocking 96-139 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder, he claimed the Thunder had exposed the Lakers. Following another disappointing loss to the Dallas Mavericks, Sharpe turned his attention to Lakers superstar LeBron James.

With Luka Doncic sidelined due to a hamstring injury during the game against OKC, the pressure was on James to step up against the Mavericks. The four-time NBA champion rose to the occasion, delivering a stellar performance with 30 points, 15 assists, and nine rebounds.

Yet, as Austin Reaves also missed the game, the Lakers fell short, losing 128-134. In the aftermath, Sharpe didn’t hold back, calling out James for one glaring issue that needs addressing following the Lakers’ latest setback.

“At one point Luke Kennard had more shot attempts than LeBron. That’s unacceptable. I mean, I understand LeBron is old enough to be Cooper Flagg’s dad. As a matter of fact, Bronny is older than Cooper Flagg. So with that being said, you see how aggressive he was. You’re going to have to match that because your guys, your auxiliary guys, they’re not going to be able to play well enough if you don’t get out to the great start in order because you’re going to dig yourself a hole.” Sharpe said.

Sharpe advised James to be more aggressive and attempt more shots rather than solely focusing on helping his teammates score, especially since Doncic and Reaves were not on the court. He suggested that the King aim for 10 assists along with 10 additional shot attempts instead of trying to achieve 15 assists.

LeBron James Reacts to Lakers’ Injury Updates Over the Past 48 Hours

After an incredible run in March, the Lakers are facing a challenging April storm. First, Luka Doncic went down with a hamstring strain, and now devastating news hits as Austin Reaves is sidelined for the rest of the regular season with a Grade 2 left oblique muscle injury. In a recent interview, LeBron James shared his thoughts on the injury updates facing the team over the last 48 hours.

“It was a shot to the heart and the chest and the mainframe with Luka … I woke up from my nap and saw that [Reaves] news and was like, ‘S—-.’” James said.

With Reaves sidelined, fans are buzzing with worries about the team’s championship prospects. It’s clear that James will need to take on a bigger role to guide the squad to playoff victories.
