A student at Lincoln High School will forever think twice about putting his hands on a teacher.

A video circulating online again shows a student hitting a teacher during a freshman class meeting inside the gym, sparking concern among parents, students, and the community. That wasn’t the end of the video.

The clip captures the student striking a staff member in Lincoln, then shoving them as the confrontation escalates. The young boy refuses to calm down as he gets pulled down the bleachers by two men.

His anger only mounts as the kid, who was sagging his pants, removes his backpack and squares up with one of the teachers. He then escalates things by pushing the teacher into the gym door.

That is when a school resource officer comes from behind, grabs the Lincoln High School kid, and then promptly slams him to the concrete.

A high school in Northern California descended into chaos when a freshman class meeting ended with a staff member violently slamming a disruptive student.

The now-viral clip, posted to social media, showed the tense exchange between the unidentified student and a male staff member inside the Lincoln High School gym. While they walked through the closing gym doors, a school resource officer ran in and body-slammed the student to the floor — with students in the bleachers jumping to their feet in shock.

The Western Placer Unified School District confirmed the incident at the time and stated that the unnamed student was facing disciplinary action, according to TMZ.

“The safety and well-being of students and staff remain the highest priority for Lincoln High School and the Western Placer Unified School District, the statement said.

The behavior displayed in this incident does not reflect the values of respect, responsibility, and kindness that the District upholds, and actions of this nature are not acceptable at any school,” the district said in a statement to the outlet.

A rep for the Lincoln Police Department spoke out to TMZ and stated that the student was placed under arrest and later booked into juvenile hall.
