Dancing with the Stars” pro Mark Ballas shared a sweet message with his season 34 partner, Whitney Leavitt, ahead of a big day for her.

As fans know, the couple didn’t win the Mirrorball trophy for season 34 of DWTS, or even make it to the finale. Despite that, Leavitt landed a gig on Broadway, and she just had her first big performance. Ballas made it clear he was with her every step of the way.

Mark Ballas Shared His Excitement Ahead of Whitney Leavitt’s Broadway Debut

On February 2, Ballas took to Instagram to share a sweet message in honor of Leavitt’s big day. He included a handful of video and photo highlights from the pair’s time together on “Dancing with the Stars” and added a powerful caption.

“Today is the day @whitleavit…Enjoy every moment of your Broadway debut, take a deep breath, stay focused & soak it all in,” Ballas wrote.

He continued, “You are a born performer & a natural. YOU GOT THIS!!”

Ballas added, “Now get out there and ‘Shake ya [expletive].. WATCH YASELF’ proud of you. GO get ’em!!”

As People shared, Leavitt joined the Broadway production of “Chicago” in the iconic role of Roxie Hart. She will perform in the show until March 15. This is Leavitt’s first professional theater role.

While Leavitt is new to Broadway, Ballas is not. He played Frankie Valli in Broadway’s “Jersey Boys” in 2016 and also appeared in “Kinky Boots” in 2018.

Leavitt is not the first “Dancing with the Stars” partner of Ballas’ to land on Broadway.
