Youโ€™d expect to see this in hockey, not curling.

Cameras caught a testy NSFW exchange between the menโ€™s Canadian curling team and Sweden during Fridayโ€™s matchup.

The menโ€™s Canadian curling team defeated the Swedish menโ€™s curling squad 8-6 to improve their record to 8-6. Curling certainly isnโ€™t the type of sport where you expect swearing and trash-talk, at least compared to football, hockey and basketball.

During the ninth end, Oskar Eriksson of Sweden spoke to Canadian Brad Jacobs and accused his team of cheating. Specifically, Eriksson thought the Canadians were double-touching the rock as they released:

Jacobs could be heard telling Eriksson to โ€œF**k offโ€ multiple times. Eriksson promised to show the Canadian curling team video footage of their so-called cheating, something Jacobs didnโ€™t appreciate:

At any rate, the Canadians won the game, and that was that.

Brad Jacobs addressed the exchange in a post-game interview, per Jonny Wakefield of theย National Post.

โ€œI donโ€™t like being accused of cheating, so I told him what I thought of it,โ€ Jacobs said. โ€œItโ€™s good for sport guys, it gets heated out there, itโ€™s a battle, weโ€™ve played each other a million times.โ€

Well, things will get extra juicy if Sweden and Canada face each other again in the playoffs.

Canada leads all nations with six gold medals in curling at the Winter Olympics. However, the menโ€™s team hasnโ€™t experienced much success in the last two tournaments.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, they fell to the eventual champion, the United States, in the semifinals. Switzerland went on to upset the Canadians 7-5 in the bronze medal game.

Canada salvaged a bronze medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. But historically speaking, this is a curling nation that enters each tournament with a โ€œgold medal or bustโ€ mentality.

Theyโ€™re off to a good start in 2026. Now we see if they can keep it going and bring the gold home for the first time since 2014.

Luka Doncic โ€˜destroysโ€™ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

Itโ€™s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncicโ€™s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before Februaryโ€™s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakersโ€”a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting โ€œFire Nicoโ€ in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the leagueโ€™s brightest starsโ€”and a night Dallas wonโ€™t soon forget

While the Mavericksโ€™ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading โ€œHvala za vse,โ€ which translates from Slovenian to โ€œthank you for everything.โ€ It was a thoughtful nod to Doncicโ€™s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncicโ€™s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey.ย The emotional gesture clearly resonatedโ€”moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.

Though his scoring slowed in the second half, he continued to lead effectively, securing both a Lakers win and an unforgettable showing for the fans in Dallas.
