Chris Jones and his ex-girlfriend, Sheawna Weathersby, broke up in early 2025. This was shocking to Chiefs fans who had grown accustomed to seeing them together.

After months of speculation that the couple had parted ways, the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle decided to finally end all talks when he shared PDA-filled photos with a woman identified as Giselle on his Instagram Stories in March 2025.

Jones and Weathersby had been dating since 2015 and share two children together.

“I’m choosing to focus on the positive as I close this chapter on a 9-year relationship,” Sheawna Weathersby wrote at the time.

She then brought up the pictures of Chris Jones and his new apparent love.

“Unfortunately, Chris’ infidelity with the woman he’s recently been pictured with, led to my decision to end our relationship months ago.”

Weathersby added that she felt “disrespected” by the “troubling” actions.

“I’m proud to say I chose to prioritize my own wellbeing and healing journey,” she added. “As I embark on this new chapter, I’m excited for the opportunities and growth that await me. I trust that God will transform the pain into something beautiful.”

Now, Chris Jones is finally breaking his silence.

Jones is now ready to settle down as he shared a shocking admission about his love life.

During Chiefs training camp, the players were asked what one thing on their bucket list they hadn’t completed yet, and Jones wasted no time speaking about love and marriage.

‘I just wanna be loved. I just wanna be married,’ Jones said in a TikTok clip shared by the Chiefs’ official account.

Does Chris Jones Pay Child Support?

Chris Jones makes a lot of money.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive tackle inked his ginormous new contract following his third Super Bowl victory.

Jones signed a five-year, $158.75 million deal with $101 million in guarantees in 2024.

Jones and his former longtime girlfriend, Sheawna Weathersby, welcomed their first child together, Christopher Jones II, in 2018, and their second son, Carson Dakota Jones, was born in 2022.

Despite their split, it does not appear that she has filed for child support as of yet. Jones may still be paying for her and his kids to ensure that she does not go to court.
