The search for the missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has taken a touching twist as detectives confirmed they have secured the last known video of her from the night before she disappeared.

Nancy, who is Savannah Guthrie’s mother, has been missing for almost seven weeks after mysteriously vanishing from her Tucson, Arizona home.

She was last spotted on January 31 after a family dinner with her daughter Annie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni. Tommaso stated that he personally escorted Nancy into her $1 million residence that evening to ensure her safety. By the next morning, she had disappeared without a trace. This follows a disturbing new theory about how Nancy Guthrie was horrifically removed from her home. It comes after a mystery man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” offered chilling new proof.

Investigative reporter Dave Mack has now disclosed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has obtained what is thought to be the final footage of Nancy alive, a video recorded inside an Uber she took to Annie’s house the day prior to her disappearance.

Whilst appearing on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, Mack provided fresh insight into the footage, although its contents have not been publicly released. “The Uber driver handed over all the video from inside the vehicle,” he revealed, reports <a href=”https://www.themirror.com/entertainment/nancy-guthrie-fbi-last-video-1747106″ rel=”Follow” target=”_self”>the Mirror US</a>.

“This was looked at by the investigation. They found nothing of substance of anything of Nancy Guthrie in the vehicle, anything she said, her demeanor, nothing was mentioned,” Mack told Grace. Despite expectations that the footage might yield a crucial clue, it revealed nothing unusual.

“They interviewed the Uber driver at length. And again, there was nothing to report. It was just a regular pick up and drop off. Remember, Guthrie only took the Uber, leaving her house and going to Annie [Guthrie] and Tommaso [Cioni],” he added, noting, “But again, the Uber driver video has been given to law enforcement. They haven’t released it to the public.”

The absence of evidence in the footage has only intensified the enigma surrounding Nancy’s vanishing, which investigators suspect may involve foul play.

In a frantic effort to uncover the truth, the Guthrie family has put up a $1 million reward for details leading to Nancy’s safe recovery or the identification of suspects. This comes on top of $200,000 offered by officials and aims to prompt anyone with information, no matter how trivial it may seem, to step forward, emphasizing that even small details could be crucial in cracking the case. In the meantime, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office is diligently working through an enormous number of leads. Detectives have pursued over 40,000 tips since Nancy was reported missing on February 1, but no suspect has been publicly named and no arrests have been made

Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to reach out to the dedicated Pima County tip line, emphasizing that even the smallest detail could be pivotal as the reward still stands. To dispel rumors, officials have also confirmed that members of the Guthrie family have been completely exonerated of any involvement in the case.

As the probe continues, the unreleased Uber footage remains a chilling final look into Nancy’s last known activities. This follows a disturbing eight-word description of the suspected kidnapper given by Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor.
