A DANCING with the Stars favorite contestant has been rushed to the hospital after suffering an injury hours before the live show.

Elaine Hendrix was noticeably missing from the ballroom on Tuesday night, and host Alfonso Ribeiro addressed her absence right away.

He revealed that the actress experienced a scary injury earlier that morning while rehearsing for the show.

She was taken to the hospital for treatment and was already cleared by her doctors to return to the competition soon.

Footage from the incident was shown, capturing Elaine in tears on the DWTS stage while clearly in pain.

Her partner Alan Bernsten was seen consoling the Parent Trap star, who was visibly upset about the ordeal before being carted off on a stretcher.

Alfonso encouraged fans to vote as Elaine is still in the running and was judged on her last full rehearsal.

She and Alan, who held down the fort in Elaine’s absence, received scores of 8 across the board.

Elaine was a frontrunner in the competition, and earned her highest scores ever during last week’s Wicked Night.

She was supposed to perform an Argentine tango to the song Bad to the Bone during this week’s Halloween Night.

Elaine revealed in an Instagram post that she was “devastated” over having to sit out on the night’s show and hoped to be back next week.

“Halloween is my favorite, and I’m devastated,” Elaine wrote alongside a video of her lying in a hospital bed.

“I was beyond excited to share what we had worked so hard on, although you’ll see a version of it. With your support, I’ll be back in the ballroom next week. I want nothing more,” she continued.

Elaine also explained her injury in the clip, saying she hurt her ribs during last week’s performance and they “seized up” while rehearsing this morning and she “couldn’t move.”

However, the TV star said her doctors assured her she should be back on the dance floor after a couple of days of rest.

Fans shared their well-wishes for Elaine and prayed for a quick recovery.

“We got you! We love you!! Get rest, we’re gonna make sure you’re through!” chimed in a fourth.

Elaine is one of six celebrity contestants left in the competition this season, which began with 14.

This week was a tough one for many of the contestants as Dylan Efron also suffered an injury during rehearsals.
