Someone Built Mia Khalifa In NBA 2K, And The Internet Can’t Handle It [PHOTO]
NBA 2K27 just added female MyPLAYER builds for the first time ever.
NBA 2K27 dropped a genuinely significant update for the franchise this year. Fans didn’t waste any time putting it to creative use.
X user Lazerus shared a screenshot from the game’s character creator this week, simply captioning it, “Rate my 2K build.”
The image shows a female player model with glasses, dark hair, and a distinctly recognizable face. Replies flooded in fast, with fans immediately identifying who the build was clearly modeled after.

“She look familiar,” one user replied.
“now hold on a damn minute-,” another wrote.
“the ball handling goes crazy on this build, trust,” someone predicted.
“You gonna be handling that ball like a mf,” someone else chimed in.

2K27 Introduced Female MyPLAYER Builds For The First Time

This build only became possible thanks to a major change in this year’s release. NBA 2K27 added the ability to create female MyPLAYER characters for the first time in franchise history, allowing users to compete in The City with a fully custom female avatar.
The addition opened up an entirely new wave of character-creation content, and it didn’t take fans long to start recreating recognizable faces from outside the NBA itself.
Khalifa’s connection to the 2K community actually goes back years. She famously tried bribing 2K’s marketing director into raising John Wall’s player rating back in 2017, offering a cheeky incentive that turned into one of the more memorable exchanges in the game’s online history. Wall himself even weighed in publicly at the time.
Khalifa Has Built A History As A Sports Personality

Khalifa’s ties to sports fandom run deeper than a single viral moment.
She’s built a reputation as an outspoken Washington sports fan over the years, reacting emotionally when the Wizards traded John Wall to the Rockets in 2020 and declaring herself a Rockets fan on the spot.
She’s also become a recurring subject of viral internet moments well beyond basketball, including a widely circulated but ultimately fake AI-generated photo that falsely placed her at a 2026 World Cup match.
She offered comment on that photo but it remains to be seen as to whether she will this time around.
For now, the character remains one of the more talked-about creations to come out of NBA 2K27’s new female builder since its release.
