Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Celebrate 11 ‘Magical Years’ of Marriage on PDA-Filled Date Night

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary!

On Sunday, Aug. 31, McCarthy, 52, and Wahlberg, 56 — who tied the knot in 2014 at the historic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, near McCarthy’s hometown of Chicago — kissed multiple times while the actress held up a “Happy Anniversary!” sign in a clip shared by Wahlberg on Instagram.

The New Kids on the Block founding member captioned the post, which had a “Happy Anniversary” song playing in the background, “The most important word, of the two words #HappyAnniversary, is ‘happy’. We are so happy. So grateful. So blessed.”

“Thanks to all those who have wished us well, and to all those who have been there to support us, through these eleven magical years. ❤️🥂🙏🏼🤵🏻🤵🏼‍♀️🕺🏼💃🏼♾️💫✨👑👑🎉♌️♏️👩‍❤️‍👨 Mr & Mrs Wahlberg,” the post’s caption concluded.

To mark their 10th wedding anniversary in 2024, the couple returned to Hotel Baker, where they initially married, to celebrate the milestone with a vow renewal ceremony.

Although the pair’s vow renewal celebration featured a replica of their original wedding cake, McCarthy didn’t don the original wedding dress she purchased at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City for her 2014 nuptials.

The couple — who first met on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in 2012, before reconnecting on The Jenny McCarthy Show in 2013 and announcing their engagement the following April — instead chose to match in midnight blue for the ceremony, which they documented on social media at the time.

McCarthy and Wahlberg’s 11th wedding anniversary comes after she spoke to PEOPLE in March about how they manage to “keep that curiosity” in their relationship over a decade in.

“We continue to date each other, because I think we get really complacent and it can become a brother and sister relationship real quick, unless you do the work,” the Masked Singer judge said.

“And I just played this game with him called ‘Questions,’ ” she continued. “And it’s a thing that we put into our marriage, which is every once in a while we’ll play this game and we have to ask questions that we don’t know the answer to because you already know what you think are answers to everything after 10 years.”

McCarthy added of the game, “It allows us to actually do work and get introspective and get curious about each other.”

“And when you get curious about each other, it feels like you’re dating again. So we always make sure we play ‘Questions’ to keep that curiosity going in our relationship,” she said.
