During Indiana Fever game, Caitlin Clark’s quirky sideline gesture drew laughs, and Chloe Bibby’s bemused reaction made the moment go viral.
There’s no stopping for Caitlin Clark this season. Whether fully fit or injured. As the Indiana Fever recently cruised past the Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs, the star rookie had a quirky dance move to share.
While she’s been in the news as the WNBA’s double standard for Clark and Paige Bueckers‘ ROTY announcement surfaced, the Iowa alum remained unhinged. Yet even from the sidelines, Clark’s infectious energy has kept her in the spotlight, turning everyday moments into viral gold.
Caitlin Clark’s Awkward Dance Caught On Camera
The Fever’s Game 2 clash against the Atlanta Dream on September 16 had all the drama of a must-win playoff bout, with the home team desperate to even their first-round series after dropping the opener. Clark, out for the season with a nagging groin injury that limited her to just 13 games, sat courtside in a custom Fever playoff tee styled after their Stranger Things-inspired jerseys.

In the thick of the celebration, Clark couldn’t contain herself. Cameras caught her bopping her head and flailing her arms in an impromptu dance, a rare sight for someone who’s more known for jawing at refs with Michael Jordan-level fire than busting moves.
Cunningham, ever the instigator, looked unfazed and ready to jump in, while Hull cracked up at the whole scene. But it was Bibby, sandwiched between them on the bench, who delivered the night’s best reaction with a straight-faced stare that screamed “what are you doing?” as Clark grooved away.
Bibby, also sidelined by a knee issue after a promising start where she shot 50% from three in her first few outings, has developed this subconscious sync with Clark. This time, though, she drew the line at the dancing.
Caitlin Clark Was All Praise For Lexie Hull’s Three-Pointer
Winning 77-60 in Game 2 not only gave the Fever a much-needed boost but also set the stage for a thrilling showdown ahead. With many fans initially questioning their playoff chances, Clark was super excited about Lexie Hull’s three-pointer. Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) account, Clark shared her excitement.
“Can’t explain what I felt in this moment,” she wrote.
Although the Atlanta Dream had the upper hand after their strong showing in Game 1, the Fever came out swinging, proving that they were ready to fight for their place in this series. Clark, an inspiring leader both on and off the court, rallied her teammates with energy and encouragement that was contagious.
