For the second game in a row, Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics suffered a brutal second-half collapse against the New York Knicks. They now find themselves down 0-2 with the series heading over to Madison Square Garden.

Tatum had the chance to be the hero for the Celtics, taking a fadeaway jumper with his team trailing 91-90. However, his attempt was viciously swatted away by Knicks forwards OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges.

Truthfully, it was a fitting ending to a rough night for Tatum. The six-time All-Star went 5-of-19 from the field during Game 2. Clearly, that’s not going to cut it against the Knicks.

Tatum wasn’t able to speak to the media following Game 2 due to an evacuation at TD Garden. Honestly, that’s probably for the best.

Although Tatum hasn’t done much winning on the court this week, he seems to be doing just fine off it.

Who knows? Maybe we’ll see Mai in New York City for the next two games of this series.

Game 3 of the Celtics-Knicks series is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. It’s a must-win game for the defending champions, make no mistake about it.
