Angel Reese isn’t helping her case.

WNBA star Angel Reese is back in action.

The Chicago Sky forward made a return to the court for her Unrivaled team, Rose BC, on Friday night.

She scored 13 points, adding eight rebounds in an 80-78 loss to Hive BC.

The former LSU star shot 6-for-9 from the field and 1-for-2 from the free-throw line.

The contest went down to the wire, with the teams tied at 78 apiece before Kelsey Mitchell won it for the Hive with a layup. Mitchell scored a team-high 27 points for the winners. Teammate Azura Stephens chipped in with 20 points and eight rebounds against her former team.

Kahleah Copper led Rose BC with 29 points.

Meanwhile, a video of Angel missing seemingly easy shots in the paint has gone viral. The clip, which can be seen below, shows Reese missing, collecting the rebound, double-dribbling and then attempting another shot.

She also missed that shot but got another rebound and gave up, tossing the ball into the backcourt for a reset.

“Angel Reese is IN HER BAG,” Hater Report joked.

“Never mind the double dribble,” someone pointed out in the comments.

“Seriously, what does she do in the off-season?” another asked.

“Mind you, she will be front and center of Women’s Sports Sunday on ESPN,” someone predicted.

“Bruhhh 🤣😂 there so much I could say… but I’m just gunna laugh instead,” someone else wrote.

“Bruh the ball is even smaller then guys and she still can’t put in a layup at 6’5 💀🤦🏻‍♂️,” a user claimed.

“Is something wrong with her shoulder? Bc if she ever starts elevating and extending her arms to lay the ball up she would avg 25 easily….. The way she lays the ball up pisses me off, its got to be something wrong with her shoulder or sum right?” someone asked.

Reese was the inaugural Unrivaled Defensive Player of the Year in 2025. She led the league in rebounds with 12.2, but was also the first-ever player to be ejected from an Unrivaled game.

She suffered a hand injury before the semifinals, but Rose BC would go on to win the title.

Reese is back for season 2. The league announced her return on February 11, and she’s since gotten her first taste of action.

Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.

From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.

Though his scoring slowed in the second half, he continued to lead effectively, securing both a Lakers win and an unforgettable showing for the fans in Dallas.
