Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham didn’t mince words when discussing Angel Reese’s recent social media activity involving her current and ex-boyfriend.
The first round of the NBA playoffs saw the Detroit Pistons and the Orlando Magic clash. It was a hard-fought series that needed a Game 7 to define the winner. In the middle of the series, Wendell Carter Jr., Reese’s current boyfriend, dunked on Jalen Duren, whom she was linked to months prior.

During a recent episode of her “Show Me Something” show, Cunningham shared her opinion on the situation. She disagreed with Reese’s decision to post something related to her ex-boyfriend, even if it included her current lover.
“I wonder if something had to have happened for her to want to embarrass [Duren] in some way,” Cunningham said. “Valid. But then move on. Worry about the current boyfriend.”
Cunningham’s Fever and Reese’s Dream will clash on June 4 for the first time this season. The guard’s remarks could make the duel more interesting.
