2,191 days” — NBA star Tyrese Haliburton gets romantic shoutout from his girlfriend Jade Jones on their 6th Anniversary - The Times of India

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton might be viewed as a villain in the eyes of some NBA fans, but there’s no doubt he’s making his girlfriend proud.

For the second year in a row, Haliburton has led the Pacers to at least the second round of the playoffs. In Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he had 22 points and 13 assists in a 121-112 victory. His squad is just three wins away from getting back to the Eastern Conference finals.

Throughout the Pacers’ journey over the past two seasons, Haliburton’s longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones, has been right by his side. She even took a trip to Paris to watch him win a gold medal with USA Basketball in the 2024 Olympics.

Jones, a former cheerleader, met Haliburton when he was on the Iowa State basketball team. They’ve been dating for six years.

Just a few weeks ago, Haliburton wrote a heartfelt message for his girlfriend on Instagram.

“6 years, countless memories, and a lifetime to go. I fall for you more everyday, I got you forever,” Haliburton wrote. “Love you J.”

rton. She has made that clear with her social media activity.

“You make this world shine so incredibly bright and I’m so lucky to spend life by your side,” Jones wrote on Instagram. “You are so special to me, our love is one in a million.”

Unsurprisingly, Jones is in Cleveland this Tuesday for Game 2 of the Pacers-Cavaliers series. Moments ago, she shared a photo of her gameday outfit on her Instagram Story.

Jones is wearing a black shirt with a letterman jacket, which has No. 0 on it for Haliburton.

That’s a simple but effective gameday outfit for Haliburton’s girlfriend.

Haliburton is averaging 18.3 points and 11.8 assists per game for the Pacers this postseason.

If the Pacers are going to make an NBA Finals appearance for the first time since 2000, they’ll need Haliburton to keep playing at an elite level.
