Tom Brady’s trash-talking game is still top-notch stuff

Tom Brady sent some hilarious trash-talk at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow ahead of Saturday’s inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic.

The first-ever Fanatics Flag Football Classic, featuring participation from Tom Brady, will be held at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen of Fox Sports will call the game.

Brady and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will captain Founders FFC, coached by Sean Payton. Joe Burrow and Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels are captaining Wildcats FFC, coached by Kyle Shanahan.

The third team will be the U.S. men’s national flag football team, coached by Jorge Cascudo.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night. While promoting the event, Tom Brady couldn’t help but throw some big-time shade at Burrow and his team (h/t Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer):

“Been in the booth watching these young guys play. Now I get to go out there and try to kick their butt once again and remind them who the boss is…

“I texted Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels. They’re the opposing quarterbacks. I said, ‘You know, I love beating Heisman Trophy winners.’ I was the 199th pick, and I always took dead aim at the guys who were picked way ahead of me. They said, ‘Talk that you-know-what. Bring it on.”

Of course, the jab comes just days after Joe Burrow was spotted leaving the Oscars with Alix Earle and two other women. The move was made all the more notable by the fact that Earle has recently been romantically connected to Tom Brady.

nteresting to see if this love triangle affects these two legendary quarterbacks when they face off on the gridiron this weekend.

Tom Brady’s Participation Adds Plenty Of Hype To The FFC

The NFL has helped promote flag football by incorporating it into its Pro Bowl format. On top of that, the league has given its players the green light to compete in flag football at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

But without a doubt, Brady’s return to football adds more hype around the FFC. It’s not an official NFL game, but it’s the closest you’ll see to the 48-year-old returning as a football player.

Many fans held out hope that Brady would unretire (again) in 2023 or 2024. That obviously never came to fruition. But seeing him compete with other top NFL stars, even in the form of non-tackle football, should still be entertaining.

Fearne Cotton has broken her silence on split from husband Jesse Wood in her first TV interview since the breakup.

Joining Lorraine Kelly on Monday’s episode of the ITV show, the TV presenter, 43, also gave an health update after having two tumours removed from jaw.

Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.

She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.

Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.

She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’

She told how her health scare has changed her outlook and said she has been seeking comfort from Davina.
