Erin Andrews is a veteran at what she does in the NFL. However, she is not immune to taking criticism from fans every week.
The longtime FOX Sports sideline reporter has been the subject of many fans who have criticized her on how she delivers reports, or just some people who do not like the sound of her voice.
The 47-year-old says fans have often criticized her voice, delivery, and even the reports she gives during games.
She is not one to sit back and not respond to her critics, which is what she did just one week into the season.
“Everyone at home will say, ‘Oh, her voice sucks. That report was stupid,” Andrews told Us Weekly. “I’ll repeat exactly what a head coach tells me at halftime. And they’re like, ‘Really, Erin?’ People just think they can do better.”
Erin Andrews was back doing what she does best this past weekend as part of Fox’s top NFL crew alongside Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady, and Tom Rinaldi.
Andrews, who faced questions about her career at Fox this offseason, made it clear that she is “so excited” for viewers and her haters to see what she has in store for the new year.
“If you throw yourself out there, people are able to put their opinions online,” Andrews explained. “It’s like, ‘OK, you go do it. You try to do this.’”

Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews is more than thrilled to be back on Fox.
At one point during the offseason, it appeared she was going to be headed elsewhere.
Fox Sports wasn’t having it, so it locked down two of its top on-air personalities, sideline reporter Erin Andrews and host Charissa Thompson.
Both veterans reportedly received lucrative extensions before the start of the next NFL campaign. The details of those deals were never released.
Andrews joined FOX Sports in 2012 and signed a three-year extension in 2022 that lasted until the conclusion of the 2024 season. It is unknown how long her newest deal has been set for.
Being back on the field means she gets to be with Tom Brady for his second year as a Fox commentator. The seven-time Super Bowl champion signed a 10-year, $375 million contract to step into the booth after his playing career.

NBC dropped a huge announcement when they roped in the services of Michael Jordan. With the league returning to the network next season, NBC is said to have some big plans with the Chicago Bulls legend. While it is clear that he will be a part of the overall coverage, the media outlet has remained tight-lipped about the same. Till now, it was only known that Jordan will be acting as a ‘special contributor’ for NBC. But now, there might be some shocking details emerging.
Speaking on the topic, Alex Sherman of ‘CNBC’ provided some insight into the matter. He pointed out that the preliminary plans for Jordan are to appear in taped segments. This way, Jordan will be providing analysis on the games. These tapes are expected to be aired either at halftime or at the end of each game.
Michael Jordan’s role on NBA on NBC revealed:
“I’m told the plan is for Michael Jordan to appear in only taped segments during the season to provide analysis that will air during pregame or halftime shows. How that evolves over time is still to be determined.”
