Erica Wheeler is making history in an unlikely way.

Seattle Storm’s Erica Wheeler made history this week. Wheeler has made history by becoming the first pro basketball player to partner with OnlyFans.

The WNBA and the WNBPA are in intense negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. They have been negotiating back and forth for months. Things have largely been at a standstill. The WNBA made a brand-new proposal in December. According to the news, the latest contract will guarantee a $1 million base salary along with a projected revenue-sharing deal. This will, understandably, push most players’ overall earnings past the $1.2 million mark.

A work stoppage can most certainly happen. In the meantime, Erica Wheeler has decided to get money using other avenues.

Seattle Storm player Erica Wheeler has become the first-ever pro basketball player to partner with OnlyFans. However, she won’t be using the platform to post adult content. Fans might remember her most from Caitlin Clark’s rookie season.

The veteran WNBA guard says the move isn’t about adult content or shock value. Instead, she plans to use the page as a window into her daily life and career. That includes workouts, family time, and behind-the-scenes moments.

“I think people automatically label OnlyFans one way, and I don’t think it’s that,” Wheeler said in a recent interview with Fox News. “I’m using it to show training, my routine, my life. I want people to see it can be more than what they assume.”

The 34-year-old said she hasn’t faced pushback from fans since launching her page. But she’s prepared if that changes. “I’d ask them what they’re doing with their own lives,” she said. “Who are you to tell me what I should or shouldn’t do? It doesn’t affect you.”

Late last year, Sophie Cunningham was asked about a plan B amid WNBA players fighting for equal pay. The Fever guard agreed that the platform could be a Plan B for her going forward.

After roughly four months on the platform, Erica Wheeler has shared a small batch of videos and photos.
