Former NFL star Adrian Peterson was caught on camera fighting another man at a poker club, showing some poor form at that.
The erstwhile running back was recorded exchanging blows with the other male, apparently over a game gone sour, with TMZ sharing a clip this Thursday.
“Peterson tells us … he and one of his buddies were involved in a disagreement while at a gaming table, “one thing led to another,” and they squared up,” the publication reported.
While people initially stepped between them to try to stop the fight, they were eventually left alone to duke it out. Peterson swung several times before backing the man up against a wall and unleashing a barrage of blows, but we can see why he excelled at football and not boxing.

The fight is said to have occurred on May 27 at the JokerStars club in Houston, Texas.
According to TMZ, they were both bloodied at the end of it all, though Peterson claimed he was bleeding because he fell into a chair and not because of a punch.
He also admitted that there was some alcohol involved and that he had known the other guy for a long time, calling the fight more of “a brother situation” than the result of a beef.
“Me and the guy, we’re cool,” he said. “We’ve known each other. It was literally like a brother situation. We agreed to disagree, we had our words, and we threw blows — and that was it.”
The former rushing yards leader said he felt bad about the fight, and they have since made up.
“I felt really bad,” he remarked. “It’s a situation where I kind of regret it.”
Police did not get involved, and the club hasn’t handed out any penalties.
