The NCIS season 22 finale ended in a stunning death that would have a lasting impact for one character in particular. In an episode that saw Parker once again going head to head with his nemesis, Carla Marino, but there was something much bigger waiting for him at the end of the episode.

The team was looking into how Nexus was connected to a stolen shipment of uranium that led to the death of the individual who stole it. Since Carla had ties to Nexus, she was brought in to possibly help the team find out what they wanted with the uranium.

However, Parker didn’t trust her and refused to work with her. Everyone noticed it was getting under his skin, especially since there was personal tension between him and Carla.

Parker’s battle against Carla Marino took a stunning turn on the NCIS season 22 finale

As this was happening in the NCIS season 22 finale, Parker had gone home to see his dad when Carla came by with a list of buyers for the uranium. When Roman saw her, he invited her to stop in for dinner, despite Parker’s reservations. They had a great time, but Parker was still not thrilled, telling Carla not to come back out of his dad’s earshot.

Once they began working with her, she claimed the new person connected to the cartel wanted to meet with her. Instead of an actual meeting though, Carla lured Parker into a trap, threatening to k!ll him. She was actually the leader of Nexus and was planning on taking out the other crime families she was associated with so Nexus could run the entire operation.

After taking Parker to the spot where her son had died in a motorcycle accident, she told Parker she blamed him since he told her son, Jason, about her criminal activity. She told Parker she wouldn’t k!ll him since that wouldn’t be suffering, basically.

Who dies in the NCIS season 22 finale?

Carla got away, even as the team managed to find the bomb and prevent the targets from being k!lled. When Parker got home, however, he came home to an awful sight. His father was sitting in a chair lifeless, having been shot and k!lled. Parker was horrified to discover two wine glasses on the table beside him, one of which had a lipstick stain matching Carla’s lip color.

This is such a devastating blow for Parker, who was also trying to find answers about the mysterious Lily and his mother’s death. Now it is likely he will be out to find Carla and bring her to justice for murdering his father.
