Terry Rozier may have played his final game in the NBA.

Rozier’s future in the league is likely nearing its end. The Miami Heat had been desperate to trade him, but the other teams have shown little interest due to his ongoing off-the-court issues.

Now it is too late.

According to ESPN, Trail Blazers coach and NBA Hall of Famer Chauncey Billups and Heat guard Terry Rozier were aʀʀᴇsted on Thursday morning in connection with an FBI sports betting and poker probe.

Billups, Rozier, former NBA guard, and coach Damon Jones were among 31 aʀʀᴇsted during a widespread FBI investigation on Thursday. The investigation was tied to a probe into members of the La Cosa Nostra crime families.

It makes you wonder if Rozier and the Heat knew it was coming since the star guard did not play during the Miami Heat’s game on Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic.

Following the news, social media posted damning evidence that pretty much makes this an open-and-shut case, as Rozier could be seen doing the most insane things during a basketball game.

Heat guard Terry Rozier was aʀʀᴇsted Thursday morning as part of an FBI investigation into a sports gambling ring, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

It was previously reported earlier this year that the Heat guard was under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York for potentially cooperating in an illegal sports betting scheme.

Rozier’s aʀʀᴇst was tied to NBA gambling, and Billups’ aʀʀᴇst was tied to poker. The star Miami Heat guard was allegedly involved in a scheme to manipulate statistics in order for his alleged co-conspirators to profit from prop bets, specifically during a game in 2023.

During a March 23, 2023, contest against the Pelicans, Terry Rozier suddenly exited the game after just nine minutes and would not return due to a reported foot issue. He would not play in another game that season.

For the contest, Rozier had five points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal. An “unexpected” amount of bets came in on Rozier’s Under for that game.

“On advice from counsel, I can’t answer any questions about that matter,” he said in January when asked about the prob.
