Jordan Poole sank a ridiculous left handed three pointer.

With time running out during the New Orleans Pelicans’ possession, Jordan Poole attempted a ridiculous left-handed three-point shot over Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac. The crazy thing is that he made it.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jordan Poole is an interesting basketball player. Back when he was playing with the Golden State Warriors, he was a major contributor to their title-winning run in 2022. Fast forward a few years, and he’s been shuffled in and out of the starting lineup for a couple of teams.

For every highlight made, it’s assured that there will be a lowlight coming for Poole. An infamous example this season is when he bricked a wide open three pointer against the Knicks a couple of weeks ago, ultimately costing them a chance to force the game into overtime.

However, there are times when he looks like a magician on the court. Against the Orlando Magic, with the shot clock about to expire, Poole sank a ridiculous left-handed three-pointer over the outstretched arms of Jonathan Isaac.

Splash. That’s a difficult shot, considering that he used his off-hand with that one. Of course, he celebrated a bit when he ran at the other end of the court.

Despite Poole’s highlight, the Orlando Magic dispatched the New Orleans Pelicans, 128-118. Desmond Bane torched the Pels with 27 points. Anthony Black chipped in 26 points for the winning side. Zion Williamson led New Orleans with 22, and Jordan Poole had 21 off the bench.

After his stint with the Dubs, Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards, where he played for a couple of seasons with the lowly franchise. Many thought that he would break out with the team. Their fans were even convinced they had their star point guard of the future.

Or so they thought. Poole struggled after being thrust as the number one option, and his shooting percentages were atrocious. Unsurprisingly, when he came back to play against his former team, Wizards fans relentlessly booed him.

While he’s still young, Poole just can’t seem to catch a break in his journey in the league.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
