Tracker fans, you’re gonna want to tune in for this exciting TV update.

The CBS drama got renewed for season 3 earlier this year, and fans have been antsy for any kind of news about the future of the series. Well, the network did them a solid on July 10, when the official fall 2025-2026 TV premiere date schedule was released online to multiple outlets.

But that’s not all CBS had to share about what’s down the TV pipeline. Posting a photo of Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw on Tracker‘s official Instagram, viewers learned that Tracker season 3 is set to premiere on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

“That’s right, we’re coming back for another season!” the caption read.

Given how much of a following Tracker has garnered over the years, it was only natural for fans to be thrilled about this news of a season 3 release date.

“Yay!! I love this series. 💕,” one person wrote in the comments. “Wooo. Release date finally revealed let’s goooo,” another cheered on. “It’s such a great show. I can’t wait for season 3 😁,” a different follower added.

Now, this is what we’ve all been waiting for! And while details about what’s coming for Tracker season 3 are under wraps, it’s clear folks are eager to see what Colter’s journey will be at the top of the new installment.

And if that’s not enough, folks are still wondering about if they’ll get the chance to see Jensen Ackles return to Tracker as Colter’s brother Russell Shaw for season 3. Luckily, he gave viewers a clue about his impending future — and he seems to be all for it.

“We are discussing that as we speak,” he told Collider back in June. “That is being talked about, so yeah, I would hope so. Justin [Hartley] is a dear friend of mine and getting to play with him is always a fun thing. So, yeah, there are talks of bringing me back. To what capacity, I’m not sure yet.”
