Donald Trump has made a statement following the d3ath of professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan.

Hogan, once the face of WWE, passed awy on Thursday at his home in Clearwater, Florida, at the age of 71.

According to reports, paramedics responded to a call near 10:00 a.m. on Thursday and transported the former wrestler to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced d3ad at 11:17 a.m.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, is understood to have suffered a heart attack.

Trump referred to the late wrestler and actor as “a great friend” in a post on his Truth Social platform.

“We lost a great friend today, the ‘Hulkster.’ Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,” the President wrote. “He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive.”

 

Trump also addressed Hogan’s family: “To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!”

Hulk Hogan’s passing occurred just weeks after a neck surgery, which was among several procedures he underwent following his wrestling career.

The 12-time world champion had over 25 operations over the last 10 years, including knee and hip replacements, shoulder reconstructions, and a full back fusion.

Tributes continue to pour in from across the wrestling world and all over.

Fellow WWE icon Ric Flair called him “an incredible athlete, talent, friend, and father.” 

Vice President JD Vance described the late superstar as “a great American icon.”

Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon said the world “lost a treasure” following news of Hulk’s passing.

“Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME, someone who was loved and admired around the world. He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon,” McMahon wrote.

The former nWo leader is survived by his wife, Sky, his children, Brooke and Nick, and two grandchildren.
