Gen V returns to Prime Video for a second series, with the satirical superhero show serving as a spin-off from The Boys.

Lizze Broadway portrays Emma Meyer, dubbed Little Cricket owing to her ability to shrink through “purging” or consuming food.

The 27 year old actress, born Elizabeth Broadway, is recognised for her performances in The Rookie, Splitting Up Together and Here and Now.

Her acting journey commenced in the crime drama Southland, where she portrayed Brooks Ryerson, before subsequently joining Shameless.

Her 2013 appearance in Bones earned her a nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series at the 35th Young Artist Awards.

Enthusiasts might recall her brief appearance in NCIS during 2018, where she played Mandy in the episode Family Ties.

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, where her parents worked as educators, she relocated to Los Angeles with her family at age nine.

Acting initially started as a pastime before she rapidly secured guest appearances in major programmes including Chicago PD and Bones.

Gen V devotees have praised her as the “most relatable and funny” character on Reddit, describing Emma as the “only unproblematic” personality.

Regarding her romantic life, the actress was involved with Cobra Kai’s Tanner Buchanan during 2019.

During a 2021 appearance on the Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast, Buchanan disclosed that he and the Gen V actress had been an item since their teenage years.

The couple had a brief split in 2015 before reigniting their love, with him admitting: “It was my fault. I was actually kind of being an a** during that time. So she had every right to [break up with me].”

However, the pair ultimately separated, with Buchanan popping the question to his Cobra Kai co-star, Mary Mouser.

Currently, it seems Broadway is enjoying the single life.
