Former Raiders star wideout Henry Ruggs is on the move again. Earlier this year, Ruggs was moved just one mile from where he played for the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Former NFL wide receiver was sentenced to a term of 36 to 120 months imprisonment. This was after a guilty plea for causing the death of Tina Tintor in 2021. With his release date approaching, Ruggs was moved from Stewart Conservation Camp to Casa Grande.
His place of residence has changed once again.
Henry Ruggs is now serving his sentence in a northern Nevada prison. This was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Ruggs was transferred this week to the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.
His new facility houses more than 1,600 inmates and operates with a higher level of security. The transfer marks at least the fourth time Ruggs has been moved since his sentencing. Prior to his stay at Casa Grande Transitional Housing in Las Vegas, he was at High Desert State Prison near Indian Springs.

Former NFL wide receiver Henry Ruggs once had it all and threw it all away in one night.
The former Alabama wide receiver is serving a three-to-10-year term for his role in a traffic crash that took the life of a Las Vegas woman in 2021. In May 2023, Ruggs pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance resulting in death and one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter after reaching a plea arrangement.
Earlier this year, Ruggs was granted a special release to speak to a group at a Hope for Prisoners event. He took time to speak about the woman he killed. “One, I wish I could turn back the hands of time,” he said in a video taken by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Ruggs, a former first-round draft pick, will be eligible for parole in August 2026.
A mandatory consideration date of July 4, 2027, was also set.
