Jason Whitlock has come up with a wild theory following BET’s decision to name Angel Reese the Sportswoman of the Year.

Reese received the honor for the second year in a row and the third overall, beating the likes of A’ja Wilson, Dawn Staley, Fla’jae Johnson, Coco Gauff, JuJu Watkins, Claressa Shields, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Simone Biles.

The decision was met with plenty of backlash, as many believe the WNBA forward was undeserving.

The ‘Fearless’ host was among them and spewed venom Reese’s way this week, describing her game in quite a crude manner.

“The woman with a retarded basketball game,” Whitlock began. “A woman who is an absolute embarrassment to the WNBA because she gets so much attention and is so incompetent.”

 

He also suggested that Reese’s popularity has nothing to do with her talent but is based on the controversy that always seems to follow her.

“She confirms almost every stereotype about women’s basketball: that it’s hot garbage and hot trash.”

Whitlock went on to claim that BET named Reese the Sportswoman of the Year because she antagonizes white people, specifically white Christian men and conservatives, adding that she trolls Caitlin Clark.

The former FOX sportscaster also found a way to link Reese to the L.A. riots, as he suggested that her treatment is connected to a broader issue of purposely angering and annoying white people, something he says is actually behind the rioting.
