The Pitt Season 2 Adds Four, Including a Familiar Face From Breaking Bad
As production on Season 2 of the acclaimed medical drama gets underway, TVLine is able to confirm the following cast additions: Charles Baker (aka Breaking Bad’s Skinny Pete), Irene Choi (Insatiable), and relative newcomers Lucas Iverson and Laëtitia Hollard.
Though Max is not disclosing specific character information, our sister site Deadline is reporting that Baker will play an unhoused patient; Choi and Iverson have been cast as third- and fourth-year medical students, respectively; and Hollard will assume the role of a recent nursing school graduate. All four are recurring.

The Pitt Season 2 began production in Los Angeles on June 5 for a targeted January 2026 premiere. Prior to its return, all of Season 1 will air on basic cable network TNT.
You can watch (or rewatch) our finale Q&A with Wyle below:
As TVLine previously reported, Season 2 will pick up roughly 10 months after the events of Season 1, on 4th of July weekend, as Robby (played by TVLine Dream Emmy nominee Noah Wyle) is in the midst of “getting himself mentally healthy again.” That will coincide with Dr. Frank Langdon’s first day back at work after agreeing to go to rehab.
The time jump will also facilitate changes in hospital hierarchy: “Because it will be July, everyone has been promoted or graduated to the next level,” series creator R. Scott Gemmill told TVLine. “For instance, Whitaker will be an intern next year — so, finally, his character will be getting paid.” Javadi, meanwhile, “is going to be doing a sub-internship, and we find out that maybe that’s just her stalling because she doesn’t want to make up her mind about where she wants to go.”
