Taylor Swift’s decision on attending NFL games, particularly away fixtures, has been disclosed by an inside source.

Swift, who is engaged to marry Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, did not attend Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, which the Chiefs lost away from home.

The pop sensation attended multiple away games after going public with Kelce in 2023, but is not all that keen on making appearances outside of Arrowhead this season. While she has been to all five games at the Chiefs’ home stadium in 2025, she has yet to join the team on the road.

It’s understood that she prefers to keep a low profile nowadays due to the attention brought on by her upcoming wedding, as well as various other security concerns when away from Arrowhead.

The couple has reportedly spent over $8 million on personal security, with the bulk of it thought to be on away games. However, she is said to be comfortable attending home games, having built up a great rapport with the Chiefs’ owners and stadium security personnel.

She also maintains a good relationship with Brittany Mahomes despite reports of political tension between them, as well as claims of a recent snub from Patrick Mahomes.

Taylor Swift Turned Off By Buffalo Bills Fans?

Road games are a different story. According to Adam Lefkoe, who is friends with the Kelces, Swift and her partner’s family were “shocked” at the behavior of Bills fans during the playoff game in Buffalo back in January.

“I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo. It was not. For all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties,” Lefkoe told Kay Adams on her ‘Up & Adams’ show. “I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got.”

He added:

“I think they were kind of going in being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.’ And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness. And I think they left and went, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.’”
