Alex Bregman and his wife, Reagan, are blessed with a baby boy.
The couple has announced the birth of their second child, Bennett Matthew Bregman.
Reagan took to her Instagram account and shared the first glimpse of their newborn. Along with baby Bennet, the image featured Bregman, of course, his wife, and both of their sons.
Bregman recently signed with the Boston Red Sox after spending nine years with the Houston Astros. The star third baseman just recorded his first career five-hit game on Tuesday.
He left his teammates to be with Reagan for the birth. Red Sox manager Alex Cora indicated that this positive event would mark the start of a great week for Bregman.
The couple married in December 2020 and welcomed their first son Knox on August 1, 2022. The arrival of Knox previously inspired Bregman to achieve a remarkable performance.
He hit .362 with seven home runs in August of that year, along with three home runs in the postseason that contributed to the Astros’ second World Series title.
Currently, Bregman is having a strong start with the Red Sox, boasting a batting average of .321, alongside four home runs and 16 RBIs in 19 games.
After a day off for the team, they are scheduled to play at home on Friday, and it’s expected that Bregman will return for the game. He did something similar when Knox was born, and he played for the Astros the very next day.
Alex Bregman’s Wife Reagan Talks About Postpartum Depression

While Alex Bregman and his wife, Reagan Elizabeth, are enjoying their family time with the newborn, things were not always this jolly.
Earlier this month, before Bennett was born, Reagan opened up about her struggles with postpartum anxiety after Knox’s birth.
She took to her Instagram and shared her experience. The MLB superstar’s wife posted an Ask Me Anything session where she connected with fans.
One of her fans asked if she had dealt with issues like postpartum depression, and Reagan shared her honest experience.
“Yes! I had postpartum anxiety, more than postpartum depression, but my biggest advice is to be open and honest about what you are experiencing with your family, friends, doctor, etc. Don’t try to work through it on your own. It’s so common & so many women suffer. I was surprised how many people told me they experienced the exact same thing,” she wrote.
Additionally, she recommended that new mothers ask for what they need and not feel pressured to meet unrealistic expectations. She also encouraged them to seek help and take care of themselves.
