Much has been said about Bill Belichick’s tenure at UNC amid the legendary head coach’s struggles with the Tar Heels.

As such, his name came up on ‘College GameDay’ this Saturday.

It appears the six-time Super Bowl-winning HC was tuned in as he apparently tried to get a word in.

Belichick’s time at Chapel Hill has been described as a unmitigated disaster, not least because of Jordon Hudson’s presence, with the 24-year-old continuing to make a spectacle of herself.

Of course, Belichick hasn’t exactly inspired a winning culture since he took over, with the program holding a 2-3 record in its first five games.

Kirk Herbstreit Wisely Chooses Not To Take Bill Belichick’s Call

With the ‘College GameDay’ crew discussing him on Saturday, Belichick called Kirk Herbstreit while he was live on air. The analyst held the phone up for his colleagues to see, prompting Pat McAfee to urge him to answer it.

“He has to be watching right now — that’s literally Bill Belichick calling Kirk Herbstreit right now,” McAfee said.

Herbstreit wisely chose to ignore the call.

As for Belichick’s future, it’s been rumored that UNC could buy him out and part ways.

Multiple sources linked to the program have also spoken to reporters recently, claiming that the situation is terrible there.

“It’s an unstructured mess,” an unnamed source told WRAL. “There’s no culture, no organization. It’s a complete disaster.”

Bill likely had something to say on Saturday. We hope he doesn’t change his mind.
