Roxy Sternberg Pays Tribute to Late ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ Co-Star Julian McMahon
Roxy Sternberg is honoring her FBI: Most Wanted co-star Julian McMahon in the wake of his sh0cking d3ath.
As TV Fanatic previously reported, the veteran actor passed away at 56 following a private battle with cancer earlier this month.
Sternberg starred opposite McMahon on the first three seasons of the FBI spinoff, which was recently canceled after six seasons on CBS.
“Dear Julian, Having the pleasure of working with you for over 3 years has been one of the highlights in my career,” Sternberg wrote in a touching Instagram tribute alongside a series of photos of the pair.
“You were so generous through and through — in your work, in your heart, and in your soul,” she continued.
“You were a great friend, leader… and beyond that — family and a mentor. You would always check in — throughout my pregnancy and just in general — making sure I was OK, making sure none of it was ‘too much,’ and just wanting to make it easier for us all.”
The 36-year-old actress said she “learnt so much” from McMahon during their time working together.
“You don’t leave this world quietly. You leave behind a hefty void, unable to be filled.”
McMahon had a prolific career on both Australian and American television.

He first rose to fame as Ben Lucini on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, before making the leap to the U.S. with memorable roles such as Cole Turner on Charmed and Dr. Christian Troy on FX’s Nip/Tuck.
He also played Victor Von Doom in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four films and led the aforementioned FBI: Most Wanted as Jess LaCroix from its launch in 2020 until his exit in Season 3.
News of Julian McMahon’s d3ath broke over the weekend.
“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” reads a statement from the actor’s wife.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.”
“We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”
May Julian McMahon rest in peace.
