Robert Irwin Reveals 3 Ways He Keeps His 'Body in Line' for “DWTS”, but Admits 'It's Starting to Break Down' (Exclusive)

On Tuesday, November 18, the final six celebrity competitors performed two routines each in the “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 semifinals. The theme was Prince Night, and Robert Irwin and his professional dance partner Witney Carson delivered two unforgettable dances! They were also the highest-scoring pair of the night.

Robert Irwin’s Incredible Dances

When it was time for elimination, it was a shock because Mark Ballas and Whitney Leavitt, despite consistently being one of the top-scoring couples, were eliminated from the competition. This means the remaining five contestants are one step closer to winning the Mirrorball Trophy, and Irwin has shared his thoughts on what it means to him to make it into the finals.

Irwin and Carson danced a Viennese Waltz to “WOW” and a Jive to “Baby I’m a Star.” For their jive, which was their first performance of the night, they received a perfect score from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli. It was also a fun and energetic routine, and fans think Irwin was born to do the Jive.

Their second performance was the Viennese Waltz, which was equally impressive and scored them 29 out of 30. This left their total score at 59 out of 60! Fans were also blown away by their performances and have flooded social media with their thoughts.

I cannot believe we made it into the finale, I want to say thank you to ALL of you for your support – and to my teacher and best bud in this whole experience @witneycarson,” he wrote. “She’s always got my back, and she creates something new and exciting every week! We’ll see you in the FINALE!”

Fans could not be more excited! “OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL FOR HIGH JUMPING,” a comment reads. “Also, can we acknowledge that Robert came down from like a 7 feet in the air jump, flawlessly??!!” another person shared.

Other reactions include, “The front flip over Whit Amazing work team IrWINit!,” “Welp, you’re definitely gonna win!,” and “Robert, you are incredible! The absolute joy you have brought to the ballroom Cheering you on in Australia. We are all so proud of you! Go get that mirrorball.”
