The internet is buzzing, and it’s not because of a sensational trade or training camp drama. On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers dropped a photo of newly signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers, pen in hand, grinning as he officially joined Mike Tomlin’s squad. But fans weren’t focused on the paperwork, they were zooming in on Rodgers’ left hand.
That’s right. The 41-year-old quarterback appeared to be wearing what looked a lot like a wedding ring. The image, released by the Steelers’ social media team, has since ignited a fresh wave of speculation about his love life. And somehow, that ended up shining on someone no longer in the picture, Mallory Edens.

Rodgers hasn’t made any public comments about his personal life in months. His last known relationship was with Edens, the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens. Their rumored romance made headlines throughout 2023 after gossip outlet Deuxmoi reported they showed heavy PDA at a party. The relationship seemed to fizzle quietly, but Edens is now back in the conversation.
She didn’t do anything this weekend, not directly, at least. But when Rodgers’ ring photo hit the internet, curious fans quickly revisited past connections, and Edens was one of the first names to pop up. She’s no stranger to the limelight. With over 209,000 Instagram followers and a background in modeling, the Princeton graduate often makes waves on social media, whether she’s linked to a sports star or not.

Rodgers, who’s known for fiercely guarding his private life, hasn’t confirmed or denied the marriage rumors. Even his close friend and former teammate A.J. Hawk kept it vague when asked. “He is very private and mysterious when it comes to things like that,” Hawk said during an appearance on his podcast. “He seems very happy, he’s doing very well, looks good physically, mentally, but not a lot of clarity on this situation, I’m not gonna lie.”
This isn’t new territory for Rodgers. He’s had high-profile relationships in the past with names like Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley. He’s spoken before about how uncomfortable the spotlight on his personal life can be. “I definitely hated it at first — like, really despised it,” Rodgers admitted in a past interview.
For now, the ring remains a mystery. And as Rodgers suits up for a fresh start in Pittsburgh, the questions about what’s happening off the field might only grow louder.
