ABC‘s new Thursday night lineup will arrive sooner than expected.
Previously scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 16, the Season 9 premiere of 9-1-1, the series premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville and the Season 22 premiere of Grey’s Anatomy will now debut on Thursday, Oct. 9, beginning at 8/7c, TVLine has learned.
The move gives ABC’s Thursday-night slate a jump on well-watched CBS time slot rivals Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock and Elsbeth, all of which return Oct. 16.
NBC’s Law & Order trifecta, and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, meanwhile, all return Sept. 25.
9-1-1‘s ninth season finds the 118 in a state of flux, following the tragic d3ath of Captain Bobby Nash (Peter Krause). Will Chimney (Kenneth Choi) step up as the team’s new leader, as the finale suggested, or is there yet another surprise on the horizon for this crew?
Set in the same universe, 9-1-1: Nashville explores a Tennessee firehouse run by Captain Don Sharpe (Chris O’Donnell). The series also stars Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and LeAnn Rimes, along with Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey.

And the Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 premiere will finally reveal who survived the explosion that rocked Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital back in May — or, you know, who didn’t survive. Let’s not forget how much this show loves killing off beloved characters. Two of ’em are right there in the name of the hospital!
FUBAR‘s future is… well, it’s f–ked up beyond all recognition.
Netflix has cancelled the Arnold Schwarzenegger action comedy after a two-season run, Deadline reports. Season 2 of the series debuted on the streamer in June.
Schwarzenegger starred as Luke Brunner, a veteran CIA operative who didn’t realize that his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) was also a government spy. (She didn’t know he was one, either.) The supporting cast included Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio and Jay Baruchel. Carrie-Anne Moss, of The Matrix fame, joined the cast in Season 2 as Greta, a former East German spy who had a romantic history with Schwarzenegger’s character.

FUBAR debuted in May 2023 with an eight-episode freshman season, topping the streaming charts and earning a quick Season 2 renewal. It took two full years for Season 2 to arrive on Netflix, though, and even Barbaro’s ascending fame (thanks to an Oscar-nominated turn in A Complete Unknown) wasn’t enough to save it. The cancellation caps FUBAR’s run at a total of 16 episodes.
