A few words are enough to say it all. That’s all Danica Patrick needed to sum up her feelings about Jimmy Kimmel’s sudden removal from being on air at ABC.

The former NASCAR driver, who has gain a lot of attention lately due to her outspoken political commentary in recent years, reacted quickly after ABC confirmed that Kimmel’s late-night show would be shelved following his comments on the Charlie Kirk sh00ting.

Patrick, who also in talks with her emotional note on Kirk’s d3ath, jumped on Instagram to share her blunt take. Her response? “Human decency is coming back. Thank God.”

The remark came just hours after ABC revealed that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” would not return for the foreseeable future. A spokesman told NBC News, ” ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ will be pre-empted indefinitely,”.

Nexstar Media, which operates dozens of ABC affiliates, backed the move, saying, “Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the d3ath of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse.”

Patrick just applauded the decision. On her Instagram Story Wednesday night, she wrote that she was glad to see “human decency” coming back.

Her quick support reflected the outrage brewing in conservative circles over Kimmel’s on-air commentary.

Kimmel had suggested during his Tuesday night monologue that the sh00ter at Utah Valley State could have been part of the same MAGA base Kirk once rallied.

“The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murd3red Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said. He added that grief was getting lost in the political blame game.

Nexstar president Andrew Alford explained the company’s stance in a statement. He said, “Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue.”

Patrick, who has long praised Kirk for energizing young conservatives, used the moment to reflect on his mission.

In a post earlier this week, she wrote about Kirk, “His mission to bring conservative values into high schools and colleges helped make being a republican cool again in the youth. He was able to take a rally and turn it into a high energy fun party! He was able to take his vision and passion and turn it into reality,” and urged people not to meet anger with more anger.

Her political voice has grown louder over time, whether she’s offering tributes like this or getting into cultural debates, such as when Danica Patrick delivered her point of view to the LGBTQ+ community.

Kimmel, meanwhile, remains off the air for the first time since he launched his late-night career on ABC in 2003. ABC has not announced when, or if, he will return.
