When LeBron James confronted Stephen A. courtside, the situation looked about to turn violent. Many fans joked that Smith would have been devastated. Despite being outmatched, Smith claims that if James had touched him, he would have reacted forcefully.
Stephen A. Smith clarified his current emotions toward LeBron during a recent visit on the ‘360 with Speedy’ podcast. He claims he has no fear of the King and implied that a physical confrontation would not have gone his way after their widely shared exchange earlier this season.
Smith said, “People could say I would have gotten my a** kicked, but did you see who I walked in with? He was 10 feet away. So whatever was gonna happen would have had to happen quickly because that brother right there, that is 330-plus, that is my bodyguard, and not to mention a whole of other people who I have around me, I really don’t have a whole lot to worry about.”
Since Stephen A.’s boxing video went viral on social media, viewers have trolled his fighting prowess. Although Smith felt embarrassed by the video, he claims it does not accurately represent his current skills.
Smith chimed in, “If people want to think that’s how I throw hands, that’s okay. If that’s how you think I throw hands, you do what you do. All I know is this: I’m not gonna sit by and let somebody put their hands on me. I don’t give a sh*t who you are.”
What Actually Went Down During LeBron James And Stephen A. Smith’s Heated Interaction?

On March 6, during a break in the Lakers-Knicks game, LeBron James was spotted openly addressing ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith. Smith was there to observe the game. Throughout the exchange, James seemed immensely irritated before leaving.
Stephen would never take such remarks lying down because he is one of the NBA media’s most outspoken and loud figures. However, many people thought he went too far when he accused James of helping his son, Bronny, land a contract to play for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA.
Being a proud family man, LeBron finds it offensive when others make unwarranted fun of his loved ones. It’s difficult to tell what Stephen A. was thinking or feeling because the footage doesn’t show his facial expression. However, one might assume that it wasn’t a particularly nice chat because of his tight body language and how he looks to be speaking to James.
