Former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas, who is now popular for his podcast and media presence, has recently made headlines due to his arr3st. However, hours later, he was released after pleading not guilty and posting a $50,000 bond. While many took shots at Arenas when his arr3st news broke out, the former three-time All-Star brutally trolled one of his haters, Kwame Brown.
Soon after his release, Arenas posted a video on his social media accounts, leaving the courtside in an upbeat mood. “Im Back on the Block like its HOT. This aint got shyt to do with me “just rented the house” Wasnt apart of the Festivities,” he wrote in the caption.
Arenas and Brown, former teammates at the Washington Wizards, now have a longstanding public feud. While the former No.1 Draft pick called Arenas “stupid,” the 43-year-old former guard brutally trolled Brown.
“Ay Kwame, what did you say?… That boy is on fire over there! That boy gets all of his views off another person,” said Arenas. “I’m happy to get your page back popping because I just heard you lost another one…“
“You can’t even get out of YouTube jail. I got out of real jail before you got out of YouTube jail, all you got to do is hit a button,” Arenas added.
The federal agents arr3sted Arenas along with five other defendants, including a suspected high-ranking member of an Israeli transnational crime group. They were accused of running an illegal gambling operation that hosted high-stakes poker games at a mansion in Encino.

Apart from Brown, Gilbert Arenas’ former Wizards teammate, Nick Young, also aimed a hilarious dig at the former point guard following his arr3st. SwaggyP talked about changing the podcast name from Gil’s Arena to Swaggy’s Arena and took a subtle jab at D’Angelo Russell.
“My brother is an idiot yall, we gonna change the show from Gil’s Arena to Swaggy’s Arena… Whatever they say he did… he did that shit might as well tell like DLO,” Young said. “Take Kenyon Martin next.”
Arenas celebrated his release by dancing and told her wife, “They can’t hold me,” as he headed down the stairs. However, Arenas’ trial is not yet over and has been set for late September.
Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate
Brittney Griner (Photo via Twitter)
WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.
The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.
The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”
However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.
It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.
Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”
This is the first time I’ve heard Brittney Griner speak! 🤨

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.
The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.
Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.
This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
