After 10 weeks of competition, Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars officially is coming to an end – but not without a hefty dose of drama involving judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who was forced to fire back after she was consistently booed by the audience and even faced ridicule from someone in the studio.
The ABC reality competition show is coming to a close after a season that featured a stacked cast with impressive routines, shock eliminations, and some behind-the-scenes drama.
Now, with fans also seeing a never-before-done twist on the finale as well, everything has come down to the final rounds of competition–including the highly-anticipated freestyle rounds–before someone is crowned a winner.
However, as the first round of the competition, where the finalists performed Judges’ Choice routines, fans were left once again loudly booing Carrie Ann Inaba.
Carrie Ann, 57, once again found viewers getting angry at her as she scored the routines and notably gave low marks to Dylan Efron, Robert Irwin and Jordan Chiles.

Anger came largely after Robert’s quickstep and Jordan’s Paso Doble routines, which she critiques and gave 9’s too, making fans furious, especially after she made a comment that suggested Robert didn’t deserve to win the Mirrorball.
“‘This trophy needs to go to someone who deserves it’ was a WILD comment to make to Robert please Carrie ann,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Carrie Ann indicating that Robert doesn’t deserve the mirrorball? Officially the meanest thing I’ve heard on this show,” another said.
“Carrie Ann critiquing robert oh I don’t want to hear it,” a third shared.

Additional anger came after she critiqued Jordan, with someone in the live audience shouting a comment down at her that appeared to upset the longtime judge, with her firing back as she demanded to know what was said.
“WHAT?” she said as she stood up at the judges’ desk? “What did you say?”
The moment, which saw even Jordan and Ezra Sosa look surprised, was quickly glossed over by host Alfonso Ribeiro, who told her not to “worry about them” and moving things on quickly to keep the show on track.
However, while Carrie Ann was largely booed, some felt that she was being treated unfairly after she gave her critiques to Dylan Efron for his Paso Doble, with some pointing out that they agreed with her remarks.
