Viral athlete Meghan Walker has made yet another giant step into her next career.
In 2024, the world was introduced to the Nebraska track star when she took to social media and posted two side-by-side pictures in her track and field gear. Earlier this month, WWE announced the signings of Meghan Walker, Cyrus Habibi-Likio, and Jessica Bognadov.
The three recruits all signed after impressing officials at the SummerSlam week tryouts held earlier this year.
Walker, a decorated athlete at the collegiate level, previously competed in track and field for the University of Nebraska. She was already well-known within the company, having previously signed to the WWE NIL (Next In Line) program before transitioning to a full-time contract.
Now, the 21-year-old has signed a full-time developmental contract with WWE, moving into the Performance Center/NXT system, per North Platte Post.
If all goes well, fans may see Meghan Walker in the ring in a couple of years. More than likely, she will be part of NXT before joining the main roster.
