Juliana Pasquarosa admitted Litia Garr’s comments stung

The end of Juliana Pasqaurosa and Grant Ellis’ engagement wasn’t exactly shocking. Ellis choosing Pasqaurosa over Litia Garr in the season finale was actually the shocking part. Ellis paid little attention to Pasquarosa for almost the entire show, while paying special attention to Garr. Pasquarosa just opened up about what really went wrong. She even delved into how much Garr influenced the split during an appearance on Bachelor Happy Hour.

During the chat, Pasquarosa claimed that the end of her romance with Ellis was hastened by Litia Garr’s After the Final Rose admission. During the iconic reunion, Garr revealed that Ellis had told her he was ready to “stop the show” to be with her. Pasquarosa said that while the admission stung, Ellis’ reaction to it was a bigger red flag. She revealed that he took no accountability. Pasquarosa admitted that Garr’s comments caused tension and that some words were exchanged afterward.

Following a squabble over Garr’s revelation, Pasquarosa awoke to find Ellis “game-planning” different ways they could announce their split. Pasquarosa insists she wasn’t set on splitting at that moment, but clearly she knew the romance was over. She also went on to discuss Garr’s behavior towards her. She admitted their relationship was also “complicated,” noting that she wasn’t thrilled with the way Garr acted toward her after Ellis picked her. Pasquarosa called Garr’s insinuation that she slept with Ellis to secure an engagement ring “ugly.”

Why did Grant pick Juliana?

While fans and Litia Garr were shocked that Grant Ellis opted to move forward with Juliana Pasquarosa instead of Garr, he still insists he had his reasons. Grant was undecided until the final moments of his season. Still, he later insisted that he felt more at ease with Juliana than with Litia. He went on to claim that Garr was too emotionally guarded. Ellis said he felt that Pasquarosa was more prepared to build a life together than Garr was. Garr later admitted that she was standoffish and withheld her feelings more than she should have.
