WWE star Nikki Bella has agreed to fight Sophie Cunningham in a wrestling ring after the Indiana Fever star expressed her desire to compete in the wrestling entertainment environment.
On Friday, sports broadcaster Bryanna Sompayrac met the Fever guard at the Swysh Den. Sompayrac asked Cunningham for her thoughts on appearing in the WWE after she discussed the wrestling entertainment company on her podcast.
“I haven’t even watched it in so long. I don’t know what my name would be but I know it would be something spicy,” she said.
Later, Cunningham said that it would be fun to work with the “Bella Twins.” Nikki Bella, one-half of the “Bella Twins,” responded to the Fever guard in an Instagram comment.
“I’ll take her on one on one… 💋🙌🏼” Bella commented.

Sophie Cunningham has been enjoying her offseason while rehabbing an MCL injury. The Fever guard joined Caitlin Clark at the Anniika Pro AM as her caddie in November.
She has been actively recording new episodes for her “Show Me Something” podcast, which has garnered over 42,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Sophie Cunningham reveals she was asked to be a part of WWE
Sophie Cunningham revealed that she was asked to be a part of WWE on Wednesday’s episode of the “Show Me Something” podcast. The Indiana Fever guard opened the episode discussing WWE with her co-host, West Wilson.
Cunningham said that WWE was a big part of her life growing up. She said that she and her sister, Lindsey Cunningham, used to wrestle all the time. The Fever guard revealed the bouts to be so intense that her parents would need to intervene and break them up.
Later, the Fever guard revealed that she was asked to be a part of the company.
“They asked me to do it. You know, maybe after I retire or off-season, maybe us two will be the new WWE duo,” Cunningham told Wilson.
However, Wilson was not much fired up about the Fever guard’s proposal. He said that WWE never resonated with him, as he knew it was scripted since he was a kid. Later, the duo paid homage to WWE’s all-time great John Cena as he finished his retirement tour on Nov. 13.
