Tyreek Hill is all smiles despite knowing he has a long road ahead of him.

Hill was diagnosed with multiple ligament tears, including an ACL, after dislocating his left knee during Monday’s 27-21 win over the Jets.

Despite the injury, he could be seen smiling and clapping his hands as he made his way off the field for the final time in 2025.

Hill was slated to undergo surgery Tuesday. Based on the severity of his injury, the wideout is facing a lengthy recovery process that could extend into the start of the 2026 season.

Before that happened, Tyreek Hill posted a video on social media with a message for fans a day after he suffered a gruesome injury in the Miami Dolphins’ Monday night win against the New York Jets.

“Tyreek Hill here, the Cheetah, about to go in for surgery. Keep your boy in your prayers,” Hill said in the video.

“You guys have been awesome, man. Fins Nation, just the whole entire NFL has been amazing, and they’ve sent me lots of love, lots of prayers, and I’m absolutely honored, man. Granted, the situation, but I love you guys so much and hope to see you soon.”

Hill’s surgery will repair multiple torn ligaments in his knee, including a torn ACL. The reconstruction required will end the receiver’s 2025 season and could put his 2026 season in jeopardy, too.

The Miami Dolphins receiver might never return to the dynamic player he once was.

In addition to his surgery on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network noted that Hill could require additional procedures to address the extensive damage to his knee. That is a lot of work on his leg that he has to come back from.

The 31-year-old is under contract for 2026.

His 2025 season will end with him hauling in 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown. He has recorded 4,733 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns in four seasons with the Dolphins.

The team has not won a playoff game since trading for him.
