Sophie Cunningham never ceases to amaze her fans. The Indiana Fever star joined the team in February 2025 and, from that moment on, brought not only her competitive and aggressive style of play but also her good humor.

Taking advantage of the offseason and her free time, the 29-year-old point guard has not only focused on business and spending time with her family and friends, but has also taken the opportunity to bring a few laughs to her followers.

Sophie shares a fun update on her life

After spending the first six seasons of her career with the Phoenix Mercury, Cunningham was traded to Stephanie White’s team to join Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull, and company.

However, in August, she suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in her right knee, requiring surgery and ending her first year in Indiana with averages of 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 30 games.

Sophie was also unable to play in the playoffs with her teammates, who reached Game 5 of the semifinals, where they fell to the eventual champions, the Las Vegas Aces.

Meanwhile, as she continues her recovery and takes advantage of the WNBA offseason, the 29-year-old star was invited to the Halftime Circus Podcast with Caleb Pressley on Monday, December 1. Glenny Balls and Jason Steinfeld were also present alongside her.

As its name suggests, this program has a circus theme and is broadcast on X (formerly Twitter) during the halftime of some Monday Night Football games. However, before going on stage, the Fever star shared a photo of her costume on her official Instagram account: she was dressed as an elephant.

“What am I doing with my life?” she asked as she reposted Caleb Pressley’s story announcing her participation in the show. She then shared a video with Glenny, who was getting ready to wear a blue and white striped costume.

Meanwhile, with a new WNBA season ahead, Sophie has a difficult decision ahead of her because, once the trade period opens on February 1, she will be a free agent. Only time will tell whether or not she will continue with the Fever.
